Before you rely on a solar quote
This tool sums a hypothetical monthly payment over an agreement term, with an optional annual escalator. After the entered term, modeled agreement payments stop. Utility costs and additional costs, if entered, remain constant over the 25-year comparison. It does not estimate energy generation, avoided utility charges, interest or APR separately from the quoted payment, tax credits, rebates, replacement equipment, rate inflation, balloon payments, buyouts, or financing terms not entered.
A lease, loan, and power purchase agreement (PPA) have different ownership and billing terms. An energy-based PPA may not have a fixed monthly payment and therefore cannot be reliably evaluated from a single monthly payment alone. Read your full contract and compare written offers.
