LADWP's single-family pathway requires documented income at or below 80% of area median income. The multifamily pathway has separate restrictions, including at least five deed-restricted low-income rental units and additional location or income tests. A lottery notification is not a funding award. LADWP also reports enhanced project-cost verification following a February 2026 CPUC ruling.
Apply: Review the current handbook and LADWP eligibility, confirm funding status, select appropriate equipment/installer, and submit through the SGIP portal. Complete interconnection separately. Following installation, inspection and operation, submit the incentive claim. Do not advertise universally free solar/batteries or guaranteed funding.
